Tenderfest is back on September 19 from 12:00 p.m. \u2013 10:00 p.m. at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, 9390 N Santa Monica Blvd, Beverly Hills, and there will be many new and exciting additions to this year\u2019s festival.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.diningandcooking.com\/chefs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/image-10-1024x732.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-87838\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.402247191011236;width:624px;height:auto\"\/>BunB, 2023 Tenderfest Champion. Photo Credit: Tenderfest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of Los Angeles\u2019 best chefs, and some who you would never think of making chicken tenders, will be competing in the fan favorite ConTENDER Competition: Miya Miya, best known for their extremely popular shawarma pop-up at West Edge; Jitlada, the Thai restaurant that J. Gold championed; Petit Trois, the restaurant from French Chef extraordinaire Ludo Lefebvre; and Lucia, led by two-time James Beard Award finalist, Chef Cleophus.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.diningandcooking.com\/chefs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/image-9-1024x683.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-87837\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.5;width:624px;height:auto\"\/>Le Coupe tenders. Photo Credit: Tenderfest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The judges for the chicken tender competition include culinary heavyweights Chef Nancy Silverton, Chef Cat Cora, Chef Tim Hollingsworth, and Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams, and Jay Luchs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The restaurants participating in the unlimited tastings are Delilah, Dave\u2019s Hot Chicken, Pizzeria Mozza, Marvin, Le Coup\u00e9, Box Chicken, Raising Cane\u2019s, Chimmelier, and Tendercrush.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.diningandcooking.com\/chefs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/image-8-1024x683.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-87836\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.5;width:624px;height:auto\"\/>Photos with the Chicken. Photo Credit: Tenderfest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dessert menu has also gotten hotter- er, colder- with the addition of the hard-to-get Henry\u2019s Secret Ice Cream, All About the Cinnamon, and their luscious cinnamon buns, and Gone Banana Bread, which I personally haven\u2019t tried yet, but Chef Ludo is participating in their bread-making.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can purchase tickets for the \u201c10 hours of cluckin\u2019 goodness,\u201d which is the creation of John Terzian (h.wood Group, Delilah) and Lawrence Longo (Prince St. Pizza, Irv\u2019s Burgers, Bar Next Door) here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Box Chicken Tendies.
