The new owner, Andy Patel, is \u201calso very community minded and will keep the spirit of\u00a0Harvey\u2019s alive and running,\u201d Harvey says.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Favorable Reviews<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The neighborhood eatery opened in March 2022 and has appeared on our 50 Best Restaurants list. \u201cSit down for a meal at casual Harvey\u2019s and expect the kind of ingredient-obsessed service you\u2019ll find at a fine-dining restaurant,\u201d our critic wrote in 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The restaurant was also highlighted by Vincent Badiee, chef at The Hunt\u014dn in Leesburg, in our April 2026 cover story, \u201cWhere Chefs Eat.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cChef Thomas [Harvey] is a character and loves what he does. It shows the moment you walk through the door and see the chalk art. It\u2019s a soulful, happy place,\u201d Badiee said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Locals will still be able to find their favorite dishes on the menu. \u201cThe new executive chef is Emily Watt,\u201d Harvey says. \u201cShe has been my chef de cuisine for the last 2 1\/2 years and is very talented. She will keep the favorites dishes going strong and add new ones as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Harvey wrote, \u201cWell the cats out of the bag I guess. I had to make a difficult decision recently and have sold Harveys.va to an amazing group of people. \u2026 To all of you who have come to dine at Harvey\u2019s thank you for your support. I have gotten to know a lot of you and even become close friends with a lot of you. Thank you for making my vision become truth. \u2026 Please continue to support all small businesses.
