According to Monarch Chophouse, this was the restaurant’s first nomination, and it’s the only Colorado restaurant to place among this year’s Top 10.<\/p>\n

The restaurant claims to pair a classic steakhouse menu with a nationally recognized wine program and service, which it says is increasingly earning the reservations of diners willing to make the short trip to Black Hawk, bypassing Denver’s established food scene.<\/p>\n
“The food and wine may bring guests to the table, but it is the care, knowledge, and attention our team members bring to every interaction that makes any reservation memorable and keeps guests coming back,” said Erica Ferris, Director of Marketing for Monarch Casino Resort Spa.<\/p>\n
The recognition follows other honors for the restaurant in 2026. Monarch Chophouse received\u00a0Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence\u00a0for its wine program and was named\u00a0Best Steakhouse in Westword’s Best of Denver Readers’ Choice Awards.<\/p>\n
Monarch Chophouse’s national finish comes just weeks after Spa Monarch earned its own USA TODAY 10Best honor, taking the\u00a0No. 1 spot for Best Hotel Spa in the nation. The win marked Spa Monarch’s first No. 1 ranking after four consecutive years among the country’s top hotel spas.<\/p>\n
