MIAMISBURG \u2014 People enjoyed their last meal at a national chain restaurant.<\/p>\n

Multiple reports say the Nashville-based chain, O\u2019Charley\u2019s, closed all its restaurants on Wednesday, as previously reported.<\/p>\n
This includes Underground Chuck\u2019s. It was located on Miamisburg-Centerville Road (State Route 725).<\/p>\n
As reported on News Center 7 at 11:00, staff and guests reacted to the news.<\/p>\n

Alyssa worked at Underground Chuck\u2019s for three months.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt just was sprung upon us today,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
But Alyssa said this wasn\u2019t the first time she unexpectedly lost her job.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve worked here when it was O\u2019Charley\u2019s, and they shut down on us too, so it was just like it is what it is,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Alyssa said she and her co-workers were told the restaurant would close on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a good environment. Everyone here was really nice. And it was one of my favorite jobs,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Alyssa is worried about her colleagues who are suddenly out of work.<\/p>\n
\u201cI actually have another job right now, so I don\u2019t have to really worry about that, but everyone else here does,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Kim and Bruce Holtzman said that their daughter landed her first job at Underground Chuck\u2019s.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis was her very first job she\u2019d ever had, so it meant a lot to her. And they had good food in there; it meant a lot to me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
This is not the only empty building in the Miamisburg complex near the Dayton Mall.<\/p>\n
Joann Fabrics and Crafts and Party City have also closed.<\/p>\n
\u201cI guess DoorDash and Amazon and all them took over,\u201d said Holtzman. \u201cIt\u2019s easier for people to sit at home and get a truck to them than it is to come out and enjoy quality time with other people.\u201d<\/p>\n
News Center 7 contacted the parent company on Wednesday. <\/p>\n
We received the following response regarding our inquiry into the closure of Underground Chucks.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnfortunately, we do not have anyone from the company available from the company for comment at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n
The company\u2019s Instagram and Facebook pages have also been taken down.<\/p>\n
