leaves four sons behind after sudden death<\/p>\n<p>Durbar Spice, Downe<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Durbar Spice on Downe High Street is shortlisted for Regional Restaurant of the Year &#8211; Kent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It serves Nepalese and Indian food, mixing traditional dishes with its own specialities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Nepalese dishes include chicken and lamb curries, Gurkha aloo, bodi and tama made with black-eyed beans, potatoes and bamboo shoots, and Himalayan jackfruit curry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Other dishes include pork belly curry, fried squid marinated in the restaurant&#8217;s 28-spice blend and tiger prawns with Indian spices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The restaurant is open from 5pm to 10pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 4.30pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday, and 3pm to 10pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It is closed on Mondays.<\/p>\n<p>Indian Valley Restaurant and Takeaway, St Paul&#8217;s Cray<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Indian Valley Restaurant and Takeaway in St Paul&#8217;s Cray is also shortlisted in the Kent category.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Based at 59 Cotmandene Crescent, the restaurant serves Indian food, combining traditional favourites with its own specialities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Indian Valley<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Dishes include chicken and lamb tikka, tandoori chicken, king prawns, biryanis and curries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Its mixed tandoori platter includes chicken tikka, lamb tikka, tandoori chicken, seekh kebab and lamb chops.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Indian Valley says it uses fresh ingredients and aims to minimise additives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The restaurant is open daily from 5pm to 10.30pm.<\/p>\n<p>The Bombay Restaurant, Green Street Green<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Bombay Restaurant in Green Street Green is the third Bromley business shortlisted for Regional Restaurant of the Year &#8211; Kent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The restaurant has served Indian food on the High Street since 1984, when founders Mr Raj and Mr Ali opened a 34-seat venue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Bombay<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It has since grown into a 110-seat venue for family meals, large parties, corporate events and special occasions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The menu includes tandoori specialities, biryanis, curries and seafood, plus chef&#8217;s recommendations such as karahi gusht, chicken or meat achari and tandoori butter chicken.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Bombay also runs an all-you-can-eat Sunday lunch buffet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The restaurant has previously won recognition at the ARTA, Currylife, British Bengal Curry, National Curry and Asian Curry awards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The restaurant is open from 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to 11pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to midnight on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The three Bromley restaurants will compete for the Regional Restaurant of the Year &#8211;
