Dallas-based oyster and martini bar Hudson House will open its first San Antonio location in the revamped Nix Health building at 5307 Broadway.<\/p>\n<p>The East Coast-inspired concept hails from Vandelay Hospitality Group, a prolific restaurant company known for several concepts including Jack &amp; Harry\u2019s and Drake\u2019s Hollywood. Since its 2017 debut in Dallas\u2019 tony Highland Park neighborhood, it has expanded to 11 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Houston.<\/p>\n<p>Commercial real estate firm SHOP Companies teased Hudson House in their original property flyer, saying it has attracted an unnamed \u201cEast Coast-inspired oyster and martini bar with American cuisine.\u201d The renderings showed a placeholder concept called \u201cMartini House Oysters and Raw Bar,\u201d which surely winked at the new tenant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"3af9a\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"cb13a751d71b1621ac76d85cc373ac35\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.diningandcooking.com\/restaurants\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1789777345_598_hudson-house.jpg\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1500\" alt=\"Hudson House\"\/> Hudson House says its serves the &#8220;World&#8217;s Coldest Martini.&#8221;Photo by Samantha Marie Photography<\/p>\n<p>The menu combines global seafood favorites with classic American cuisine. Each location\u2019s offerings are a little different, but the concept is known for flying in East Coast oysters daily, fish tacos, lobster rolls, and maki such as a rice-free Signature Roll with salmon, tuna, crab, tempura flakes, and spicy ponzu.<\/p>\n<p>Landlubbers can also expect dishes like cheeseburgers, a salad with popcorn chicken, chicken parm, and steak frites. And the San Antonio menu will undoubtedly feature Hudson\u2019s famous whipped avocado dip served with ranch chips.<\/p>\n<p>Hudson\u2019s beverage program is led by the \u201cWorld\u2019s Coldest Martini,\u201d a Grey Goose cocktail served on tap and chilled to a frosty 10 degrees. The d\u00e9cor doesn\u2019t scream nautical, although globe lights are wrapped in a little net.<\/p>\n<p>A Vandelay rep did not immediately return a request for more information. But new project details filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation give some clues.
