(WSMV) &#8211; Taylor Fresh Foods Inc. has sued former Taylor Farms Tennessee President Brian Thure, alleging he and others diverted more than $32 million through false vendor invoices, unauthorized payroll and personal expense reimbursements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The federal lawsuit, filed June 5 in the Middle District of Tennessee, also names Thure\u2019s wife, Julie Thure, James McPherson and MTS Building and Electrical.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/www.diningandcooking.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/WCZWEBRKNJC6BHZCWR4ZBCEHIA.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The company alleges Thure, who led Taylor Farms Tennessee from about 2012 through March 2026, used his authority over finances, payroll, vendors and accounting to benefit himself and others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Among the allegations: The complaint says family members and personal employees, including a chef, chauffeur, trainer and aquarium-maintenance worker, were placed on the company payroll despite not performing company work. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The lawsuit claims those personal employees cost more than $3 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Taylor Fresh Foods also alleges more than $12 million was paid through false invoices and that Brian and Julie Thure received more than $6.5 million in improper expense reimbursements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The company seeks damages, restitution, recovery of allegedly misappropriated assets and a jury trial.
