Event center slated for site of old pharmacy at Parmer and Whitestone<\/p>\n
An unoccupied building at the corner of Parmer Lane and Whitestone Boulevard in Cedar Park is set to be converted into an event center.<\/p>\n
The 12,000-square-foot venue, to be known as the RIA Event Center, will make use of a restored and renovated pharmacy building.<\/p>\n

Nana B’s Country Kitchen showcases slow-cooked family recipes near Round Rock, Hutto border<\/p>\n
When Victor Friar and Keysha Nichols-Friar first opened their smoke shop Ash, Smoke & Glass near the Round Rock-Hutto border, they celebrated with smoked wings. At the time, customers told the couple they should consider opening a restaurant. About a year later, in September 2025, they did exactly that, opening Nana B’s Country Kitchen in the retail space next door.<\/p>\n

Fritz Park holds grand opening in Hutto<\/p>\n
A grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting was held at Hutto’s Fritz Park Sept. 20.\u00a0 Fritz Park has been undergoing renovations as part of the city\u2019s capital improvement plan. The project cost around $11 million and stems from a 2018 voter-approved parks bond.\u00a0<\/p>\n
