As a winter storm approaches, grocery stores in Oklahoma, including those in smaller towns, are ensuring their shelves remain stocked with essentials like milk and bread<\/p>\n

Grocery stores across Oklahoma are prepared to meet community needs as shoppers stock up for an impending winter storm, with smaller towns ensuring their shelves remain stocked with essentials.<\/p>\n

“Your bread, your milk, your eggs \u2014 buying a lot of cereal, lunch meat,” said Morgan Wilson, store manager at Market Square.<\/p>\n

She acknowledged that while they ran a little low on milk, they did not run out, thanks to a shipment that arrived Thursday morning to replenish their stock.<\/p>\n

In rural areas like Hinton, shoppers are traveling from as far as 30 miles away after finding some big-box stores running low on supplies. <\/p>\n

“Everyone says they\u2019re wiped out, but we\u2019re not having that issue here,” Wilson said.<\/p>\n
