Breaking news for all of the foodies just hit the Med City.\u00a0 After all of the latest announcements of places that are shuttering for good in Rochester, this was a bit of good news.<\/p>\n

What Stores Are Officially Closing in Rochester, Minnesota?<\/p>\n

The last few days, our team has been very busy keeping the community updated on the latest closing announcements for our local businesses and restaurants.\u00a0 We’ve heard so many reach out and say that they need everyone to support local (and I’ve been saying that too about our local radio companies), but unfortunately, tough decisions have been made for a few of our businesses.<\/p>\n

\"Google\"GoogleGoogleBoulder Tap House In Rochester, Minnesota Is Closing<\/p>\n

Just yesterday, Boulder Tap House also announced that its doors would be closing in April.\u00a0 But…they said there was a twist.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dear Boulder Tap House Rochester Community, While change can sometimes be hard, it can also be something truly exciting\u2014and that\u2019s exactly where we\u2019re at. After a lot of thoughtful consideration, we\u2019ve made the decision to transition this location to a new for the Rochester community restaurant concept. Before anyone panics\u2014we want you to know that Boulder Tap House and it’s brand isn\u2019t going anywhere! We have 10+ locations (and growing), with the closest being in Mankato, MN\u2014so you can still get your fix anytime We absolutely LOVE the Rochester community and have been so grateful to be part of its growth.<\/p>\n

Thanks to their latest note on Facebook, we now know what will be\u00a0opening in the soon-to-be-closed Boulder Tap House at 24 17th Ave. NW in Rochester.<\/p>\n

\"Google\"GoogleGoogleIt’s Official, Grizzly’s Grill Is Opening In Rochester, Minnesota<\/p>\n

Early this morning, a new note was posted on the Boulder Tap House Facebook page that had the words “Big Announcement” for all to see.\u00a0 It is official,\u00a0Grizzly’s Grill, which is known for their smoke & fire is coming to Rochester.<\/p>\n

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT Grizzly\u2019s Grill Smoke & Fire is coming to Rochester! Our team is SO excited for this next chapter, and we can\u2019t wait for you to experience everything Grizzly\u2019s has to offer\"Y-105FMAre The Cheese Curds Going Away?<\/p>\n

One of the biggest concerns people had when they heard that the Boulder Tap House was closing was that the big cheese curds might be disappearing.<\/p>\n

Team reassured everyone in their post that not only will the “big, gooey blocks of cheddar” still be there but you’ll also enjoy wood-smoked wings that are “seriously SO delicious”.<\/p>\n

When Is\u00a0Grizzly’s Grill Opening in Rochester, Minnesota?<\/p>\n

The last day stop in and order your favorites from the Rochester Boulder Tap House location will be April 12th, 2026.\u00a0 Opening day for the new Grizzly’s Grill will be at some point in the spring.<\/p>\n

New Candy Shop at the Apache Mall in Rochester, Minnesota<\/p>\n
