Dulce Vida Tacos & Tequila on Memorial Road has announced its closure.<\/p>\n
The restaurant, 3001 W. Memorial Road, posted to social media on Tuesday, Sept. 29, saying its final day would be Wednesday, Sept. 30.<\/p>\n
“Oklahoma City, thank you for welcoming us, supporting us, and allowing us to be part of so many special moments,” the post read. “Every visit, every meal, every drink, and every memory will always hold a special place in our hearts.”<\/p>\n
The restaurant, which stands out due to its bright pink facade, opened in January, and according to its social media came under new ownership in February.<\/p>\n

And while the two locations share a website, dulcevidaokc.com, where both locations are listed, the Dulce Vida Tacos & Tequila location at 4825 Northwest Expressway posted Tuesday, Sept. 29, ensuring customers that it was not closing.<\/p>\n
“We’ve seen some confusion regarding the recent announcement about the Dulce Vida location on Memorial Rd., so we wanted to clarify,” the post reads. “Dulce Vida on NW Expressway is independently owned and operated under different ownership. The closure announcement regarding the Memorial Rd. location does not affect our restaurant.”<\/p>\n
The Northwest Expressway location opened in April 2024.<\/p>\n
