CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa \u2014 Peppercorn at the Bank will end regular restaurant service next month as the business shifts its focus toward catering and private events.<\/p>\n
The restaurant announced on Facebook that its final day of regular dining service will be Oct. 29.<\/p>\n
Owners said Peppercorn Food Company\u2019s catering business has grown enough that the company plans to devote more of its staff and resources to that part of the operation.<\/p>\n
Peppercorn at the Bank will remain open for private dinners, rehearsal dinners and corporate events. The business said all currently booked private events and catering services will continue as planned.<\/p>\n
The restaurant also plans to host occasional public events, including wine dinners, chef-led dinners and other special dining experiences.<\/p>\n
Customers with Peppercorn at the Bank gift cards can use them through Oct. 29. Any cards not used before regular restaurant service ends will remain valid for future catering services.<\/p>\n
The restaurant will be closed for regular dining Sept. 7 for Labor Day, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 because of catering commitments, and Oct. 20 for a private event.<\/p>\n
