They were\u00a0Hot Dog Johnny&#8217;s in Buttzville, and\u00a0 Rutt&#8217;s Hut in Clifton.<\/p>\n<p>The Best Hot Dog In New Jersey<\/p>\n<p>After all the votes were counted, Johnny&#8217;s edged out Rutt&#8217;s for the top spot, but you can&#8217;t go wrong with either.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.diningandcooking.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/attachment-wkxwfm-square.png\" alt=\"New Jersey 101.5 FM logo\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Hot Dog Johnny&#8217;s has been around since 1944, and is on Route 46 in Buttzville.
