MML also has hotels in New York City and New Orleans and restaurants in Houston, Aspen, Colo., and parts of California.

Article continues below this ad

“I think we’re getting as big as we want to be,” McGuire said.

The team plans five more restaurants in Dallas after Neighborhood Sushi, which opened on Oak Lawn Avenue in summer 2026.

“This might be the last push for us,” McGuire said of the Dallas expansion. Here’s a timeline for MML’s Dallas restaurant rollout.

June’s All Day in the Dallas Design District

A “funky French wine cafe” in Austin, June’s All Day will expand to Dallas Design District high-rise Urby, McGuire confirmed.

Article continues below this ad

In-the-know foodies have waited several years for June’s.

“We talked early-on about doing a cafe there and the timing wasn’t right,” McGuire said. In 2023, an unaffiliated cafe called The Meteor, which has ties to Austin, opened temporarily on Urby’s ground floor.

Now that June’s All Day is ready to move in, The Meteor slid over to a new location on the same property.

Customers at June’s All Day in Dallas will find a French bistro as well as grab and go cafe items like crullers.

Courtesy of June’s All Day

June’s All Day is named for master sommelier June Rodil, who helped create the wine-focused restaurant a decade ago in Austin. (She’s now a partner at Houston’s Goodnight Hospitality, which owns March, Rosie Cannonball and others, though she continues to lend her name to MML’s French cafe.) June’s All Day was meant to feel like “an American cafe in Paris,” McGuire said, with a menu that includes classic French bistro dishes like croque madame and steak frites as well as an all-American cheeseburger and a lengthy wine list.

The Dallas restaurant will have light pink plaster walls, modern art and checkered floors.

Article continues below this ad

June’s All Day will be at 1930 Hi Line Drive, Dallas. Clark’s Oyster Bar will join in, with a location near Fitzhugh Avenue.

Clark’s Oyster Bar is MML’s most replicated restaurant. It’s “the beloved one,” McGuire said, describing the patio-friendly spot that feels like it would fit near an ocean pier, despite the original in Austin and this offshoot in Dallas being nowhere near a body of salty water.

Article continues below this ad

In Dallas, the 1960s office building becoming Clark’s Oyster Bar will look like a restaurant on stilts, McGuire said. Popular dishes include crudo, a lobster roll and cioppino.

Clark’s Oyster Bar will be at 4155 Buena Vista St., Dallas. It’s expected to open in spring 2027.

Swedish Hill — at least 3 locations

The fourth brand from MML moving into Dallas will be Swedish Hill, a bakery with about 50 years of history in Austin. McGuire’s team acquired the bakery (which was once called Sweetish Hill) and “2.0’d it,” McGuire said, turning it into a gourmet market and sandwich shop that makes its own sourdough bread and croissants.

The Austin area has four Swedish Hills. Dallas will have at least three, McGuire said.

Article continues below this ad

Swedish Hill requires a commissary where baked goods are produced from one central kitchen, McGuire said. MML’s hub in Dallas will be in the Design District, with a cafe in front. The second Swedish Hill is planned near the Knox Hotel development. The third lease has not been signed yet.

“I think Dallas is the natural move, because we feel like it’s a really good market,” McGuire said.

“We want to go where we feel like there’s opportunity and a need for what we do.”

Swedish Hill will open at the Dallas Decorative Center at 1617 Hi Line Drive; in a space near the Knox Hotel; and at an unknown third location.
