OMAHA, Neb. \u2014<\/p>\n
A shooting outside of a grocery store in north Omaha critically injured one person.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to the shooting, which occurred outside the Phil’s Cash Saver near N 31st Avenue and Ames Avenue, around 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.<\/p>\n
The victim, a 61-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, according to authorities.<\/p>\n
Omaha police told KETV that the man was loading groceries in their vehicle when the suspect allegedly came up and shot them multiple times.<\/p>\n
The man’s injuries are non-life-threatening, Omaha police said.<\/p>\n
Officers obtained a license plate of the suspect involved in the shooting, Omaha police chief Todd Schmaderer said.<\/p>\n

Detectives tracked the vehicle to the QuikTrip and the suspect allegedly came out of the bathroom and started shooting, Schmaderer said. <\/p>\n
Two officers were hit by gunfire and another was hit by shrapnel, according to Schmaderer. The officers have non-life-threatening injuries<\/p>\n
The grocery store is currently closed until further notice.<\/p>\n
