Hi yāall this is Maddie from maddās kitchen and Iām getting yāall ready for Christmas today Iāll be making some stuffed peppers what Iāll be using Iāll be using Iām using Angus beef ground chuck Iām 80% lean 20% fat you shouldnāt when youāre cooking stuffed peppers and
Stuff I think you should donāt use the 93% the eight is a good number so Iāll be using two of these right here which the 16 oz itās a pound this is 2 lbs Iāll be using that and and I also be using Peppers assorted color peppers I
Have red pepper yellow orange and green and with these pepper I will use I take the rim off and Iām going to use these rims later on in my uh sauce that Iām making and what Iāll be using Iāll be using some tomato juice I use tomato
Juice instead of salt some people use salt or paste I prefer the taste of tomato juice also be using some uh basil garlic oregano te Tomatoes I have two cans of those and I also be using some peti just plain DIC Tomatoes Iāll be using uh alocado uh oil avocado oil Iāll
Be using maybe some um parmesan cheese pepper I have some salt some bay leaf and some garlic fresh garlic I didnāt have any U I mean uh a a ground garlic I didnāt have any uh fresh garlic so thatās why Iām using that and I also o
Have a I have a pepper I also have oregano and basil those two uh fresh ingredents Iāll be using two types of cheese uh this is pepper jack and this is extra sharp I got it grated Pepper Jack and extra sharp cheddar and I also have some onions and I have uh some
Sugar and these are green onions and these are red onions and I have butter but as I know I named a lot of ingredients and as I use the ingredients as I introduce uh the steps Iāll be telling my ingredients naming them again okay when youāre doing stuffed peppers I
Forgot to I mention my rice you you mixing the ground beef and the sauce with the rice and I forgot to mention that the first thing I do when Iām making my stuffed pepper to get it out the way so when I get ready to mix my
Rice and my peppers I want it done with my sauce I want it done and I also do my bell pepper I put them in the oven Iāll tell you thatās step two the first thing Iām going to do Iām going to put a little salt in my rice some salt in my
Rice already wash it and clean and thatās where it swo and I let it set up a while thatās a lot of rice so I got some salt and thatās all you need in rice salt and butter thatās my stove getting hot y Iāmma cut that on let that cook slow
Thatāll be ready so you I donāt want to like you can cook your sauce first but I always cook my rice first just put it on I let let it cook watch it let it cook so thatās my rice cooking the next thing I do Iāmma set these Peppers aside is I
Take and get my um my Peppers ready see you can Blan your peppers if you want to or you can put them in uh put them in the oven like Iāmma do them and let them cook for about 20 minutes so Iāll let these get out the way and after I get
Through doing that Iām going make my do my meat and I explain as I go okay what Iām going to do I got like I said I got all the saled peppers I got the uh make sure they stand up now sometime you
Might have to cut it um cut it in U and a um a uh cut the bottom off so it can stand up these are standing up so I have the red the orange the yellow and the green Iāll be making those kind and the
First thing Iām going to do I have some butter over here Iām going to make my Iām getting ready to make the uh to coat my peppers in what I use in my pepper all thing I use is butter I use some some butter I melted the butter off
Camera I use butter some butter in here and I got one of these stuck in here one of these Iām put on my thing I had one those R for my pepper I didnāt need that in there but I left it in there anyway so Iām going take some
Butter and also take a little honey got to get my honey I forgot the ring it out this is going on my Peppers Iām going to put a little honey in here just a little bit so I can go on the peppers and make it taste itās going to give it a
Taste just a little bit youāre going to use more I put uh and then Iām going to put a little olive oil in here olive color oil in here in that honey butter and avocado just a little bit okay those are the three ingredients Iām using for my
Peppers thatās what Iām going to do Iāmma take in a stir this up and what Iām going to do Iām going take and coat coat all of these with this on the inside and the outside I just coat them good with this butter oil and a avocado oil and a
Little honey so you want these to get cooked so we going you can put them in here going kind of make cuz only thing you going to put in here is this you going to put these in the oven and youāre going to let them cook now if you
Donāt want to do this step you can take I think this make it taste better you can take and put it in the uh put some boiling water on and and once the water boil put these in the um put them in the boiling water until they get as tender
As you want them to get you know let until they get tender thatās easier but I like this I want to do it like this put this on it so I can taste cuz like I say honey we getting ready for Christmas and I want this to taste good I like for
All my food to have a good taste if Iām using three things like Iām using pepper Iām using uh Peppers saled peppers I also be using um um and my sauce I want my sauce to taste good in my rice my meat and my sauce all of those should be seasoned
Good so you eat them and this what I do I find try this y all and if you donāt want to do this go to this step like I say you can also take and U put them in some hot boiling water let the water
Boil put a little salt in there if you want to you can put butter in there too and just let them blanch like that but I like I said I like putting mine in the oven okay I got all of these ready and what Iāmma do is Iāmma put these in the oven
I have my oven set to 355 theyāll stay up for about 20 minutes until they get soft and Iāll get back with you allall okay you all Iām getting ready to make my sauce up and as I make it up I introduce yāall to the ingredients what
Iāll be putting in my sauce Iāll be like I said I use tomato juice and I used the uh chopped the petique diced tomatoes I used two tight the one with the oregano ambassad in it I use that and I use the T the pepper and the salt and different
Things Iāll introduce them to you and I donāt let this go to waist right here these rims thatās going to go in my meat itās going to go in my meat Iāll put a little in the sauce too just a little bit I put a little bit you chop them
Kind of small you donāt want them too big they aināt got to be too big and little cuz itās going to cook for a long time and the reason Iām some people start their meat off first but I start my sauce off first because I wanted to
Cook really good and then I put the meat in there you know to be seasoned so thatās what I do yeah put a little these in here we cut all these Peppers up and put in here red ones all of them just a little bit into the um into the
Sauce it donāt matter how big they are because when you mix it they going to cook away thatās why you donāt have to waste all your time chopping Iām going to put this in here first thatās all these Veges green orange and uh red and yellow put that in there and the next
Thing Iāmma put in there these some uh green peppers green peppers I cut and Iām sorry green onions Iām sorry itās green onion put a little in here all this going in my sauce and I chop them off camera hereās my uh this is my um yellow onion some in here going
Cook when you season your food make sure you use a hereās some red onions Iāll put them in here it donāt matter how I could have put the sauce in first but I just want to see how much on vegetables I had in there and then hereās some um
This is a a basset Iām sorry oregano this is oregano and hereās the bass I cut a few of these I washed Iām going put a few of these in here Iāmma recap all this for you okay so I got I have in here I chopped up the rims of the red green
Orange and yellow pepper I did that I also put some red onions in here I got some um green onions in here they go in there and yellow onion so what Iām getting ready to do now Iāmma pour some uh tomato uh juice in mine you can use
Sauce but I like tomato juice better pour some juice you you just need enough juice to uh to uh cover your uh your peppers so Iām going to put these uh these dice uh petite Tomatoes Iām putting these in here itās going to make my sauce good
And Iām going put the one mix with uh uh hereās this another one of those uh DIC tomatoes and hereās the one thatās mixed uh with uh basil uh garlic and oregano so Iām put these in here now all this is my sauce and Iām going to let it cook
For a long time I got all the vegetables in here now Iām going put some salt salt in here and you always put sugar in there to to calm down the acid and tomatoes I think thatās how it go hereās some pepper you make your sauce good and when
You like when Iām using cooking I use always use a lot of vegetable cuz I found that vegetable season something better than anything to me fresh vegetables and hereās I didnāt have any fresh garlics so Iām going use uh this ground garlic powder and normally you I ran out of that
And thatās about it I put a couple of bay leaves in here and some sugar and Iāmma taste it now like I said this is a sauce going over your uh your stuffed peppers put that in there take a couple of these I donāt want that much in there
Okay Iām put some sugar and thatās it Iām going to let this start cooking so this can be better so it can be ready when I get ready to do to me is best the first thing I did you know I took my green peppers my my bell peppers and I
Put uh avocado oil butter and a little honey I let them cooked in the oven I could you could have blanched them like I said but I decid put minees in the oven and I got my rice cooking cuz youāre going to need some rice my rice
Is over here cooking and now our next thing thatās the third step I make Iām making my sauce Iām going to let this cook for about an hour or so and Iām going to get ready the next step is putting my getting my ground beef ready
Okay I got sugar in there stirring this up and get this ready Iāll get back with y I forgot to mention about my jalapeno peppers Iāmma to put about three over here in my sauce see how my sauce hasnāt been getting to cook yet putting that
Over thatās enough cuz I donāt want it too hot and I taste it when I taste it I put a little more salt and I put a little more sugar and everything else these vegetables theyāre getting ready to cook see how that look thatās going
To go thatās going to make this taste so good this sauce try tomato sauce uh tomato juice to the tomato sauce yāall or paste thatās what I use so Iām going let that start cooking okay and now what Iām getting ready to do is start my meat I donāt put some
People put oil in their meat it makes uh grease anyway so you eliminate some of the fat so Iām just going to let it start cooking and Iām going to start putting all these vegetables in here you donāt have to put any oil in here Iām put these veget hereās my red onions
Same thing I put over there in my sauce put these in here let these cook now this the meat you know the meat had to taste good when Iām seasoned I go all around my food like I say I go around it and once I go around itās enough for me
And this is my green onions I just put red now hereās my green onions put some of that in there Iām going let this cook so I begin to fry and it going to make its own juice and to me itās the best to let your vegetable cook over your meat
Because some people take and put the vegetables in and let the vegetable cook a little bit but Iām letting my vegetable cook in my meat and hereās some onions these are yellow onions y I cut them up I didnāt cut them that aw I chopped them a little bit I
Donāt believe Iām chopping unnecessary not like potato salad and salad you have to but something you cook you on have to now hereās all those here is all those um the rims of the peppers the red the green the yellow and the orange and Iām
Going to put this in here too I chopped them up and these are all the things going to go in here Iām put the my dry ingredients in here now there this up and put my dry in there and some people you know takeing um they takeing um chop their meat up
With a uh with a hamburger chop I take mine break mine up that is the most easiest way for me that I found out instead of you know using that cuz you got to wash that thing and I me it between those little grooves I try to
You know I donāt do that I this broke down really easy with my hand put on some clean gloves and just you know do it now hereās my vegetables in here but Iām going to do now Iām going put my drying SE put some I didnāt
Have garlic like I said though so Iām putting some garlic in here and once this cook you can set this aside uh because uh put some pepper in here because your uh pepper got to cook your green pepper got to cook and your rice got to finish cooking and your salt
This is what you you going add this with your sauce so you donāt have to you know you put rice in here and I also put a little sauce in my rice too with this let going let this cook and I got to put some salt in here and thatās it salt
Garlic pepper and all the vegetables that you want to put I make sure I put a lot of vegetabl in here and Iām not going to put no hot peppers in here because I already put some in my sauce so I donāt need nothing Iām going let
This cook and brown see like I said you donāt need no grease sell that water no put uh when you cooking vegetables and stuff try not to um put oil in if you donāt have to cuz you donāt want that extra oil going in your body you donāt need
It letās use the greas one thing and Iām going to let these cook and Iām going get back with you okay my peppers have cooked uh with the olive oil and the uh butter and they cooked and I can open them up I like for mine are cook so the
Peppers are very done and tender so I let them cook thatās how you donāt have to let yours cook this much if you donāt want to you can like I said but I let mine cook a little longer and the first thing Iāmma do Iāmma taste everything
Iām going taste my meat and see how that taste see those vegetable I put in there taste this m thatās good good enough I donāt need anything in that Iām going taste my sauce in my sauce Iāmma put just a tap of sugar just a tap of sugar in
There a little tap of sugar I think I needed that maybe a little salt a little salt not much cuz I want that exact taste that I want and a little pepper cuz my meat is okay in my rice Iāmma stir this up a little bit now what Iām do
Is Iām going to put a little of this sauce into my meat just a little bit thatās what I do you know mix it up put a little sauce over your meat it is so good yāall with these vegetables and stuff I put in there that is so good Iām
Going put this up and Iāmma stir this up I donāt want to put a lot then Iāmma add my rice in it these are what you call stuffed peppers delicious you season everything H up so now Iām going put a little rice in here my rice overcooked so Iām going just
Once I get it down Iāll put more in there make sure you donāt put too much rice uh more rice than sauce and meat okay Iām going stir this up I know I need some more put it in a little bit at a time Iām about to freeze that Rice I
Didnāt know that much rice was going to come out but thatās how itās supposed to look yāall good and this is going back in the oven CU a little bit more rice in here okay I got a lot of rice but I want I want it kind of equal
Up okay and then Iām going put these in the the peppers over here I call us a day a little bit more rice please donāt cook this much rice yāall but Iāmma freeze this rice probably use for thanks for Christmas some of it okay see how that Rice coming through
Thatās how you want to look you want about the same amount of meat as you have rice so you can see it Iām put one more scoop but two more Scoops in here and thatās it for the rice put a little bit more sauce put a little bit more sauce in here
Just a little bit some people donāt put the sauce with the rice I do cuz I want to taste it you know I donāt want to just be eating meat and rice I want to eat the sauce too cuz thatās one of the best of it now what
Iāmma do see this how it should look just that consistent you know with the rice and the meat and Iām going to put them in these Peppers Iām going take a scoop this right here Iām going to use the same scoop and Iām going to fill the pepper
This about it Iām going fill these pepper up with this rice and Iām going to get back with you when I finish them Iām going put some cheese on some of them Iām going to put some sauce on the other one and I like for my Peppers to
You know be this like this so you can open them up and when you eat into them they wonāt be so dried out and hard you want them be tender cuz they going to set open Iām going to put this in the oven Iāmma fill all of these up and Iām
Going to get back with hereās the Finishing Touch of my stuffed peppers I put some cheese on the pepp apple jack cheese cheddar cheese and I put the sauce on them and here is the leftover um that I had too much rice and too much meat and I put it in a bowl

I like to use tomato juice as well. Much less sugar added to my food than most tomato sauces and pastes.

I like use traditional V-8 vegetable juice which is basically a tomato juice with a little bit of extra layer of flavors.
These are VERY well done stuffed peppers, better than the more simple way I have done for years. You have an award winning recipe hereā¦ The melted butter wash is brilliant! I love being subscribed to your channel, as I always learn something new and delicious.
