Ingredients:
β 5% cottage cheese (quark, dry cottage cheese) β 8 oz | 250 g.
β wheat flour β 3 tbsp
β 1 egg yolk
β sugar β 2 tbsp.
β vanillin β 0.5 tsp.
β vegetable oil β 3 tbsp.
β salt
β
You will need:
β bowl
β saucepan
β large mug or jar
β A pastry board or any suitable surface
π Preparation:
1. Mix cottage cheese, wheat flour, egg yolk, sugar, vanilla and salt in a bowl and whisk gently with a fork, leave for 10 minutes.
2. Sprinkle flour on a pastry board, take a rounded tablespoon of quark and form a ball with your hands, sprinkle it with flour, place it under the mug and turn it. Then press lightly with your hands, giving the desired shape.
3. Heat a skillet with vegetable oil over medium heat.
4. Fry the tortillas on both sides until light golden, 3 minutes on each side.
5. Serve the cottage cheese fritters hot with sour cream, jam or condensed milk.
