Homemade potato chips in 6 minutes?! In the Microwave?! …my addiction to potato chips is about to become a problem!
Here is what you’ll need!
Easy Microwave Potato Chips
Servings: 4
INGREDIENTS
1 russet potato
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt, to taste
PREPARATION
On a cutting board, slice the potato into ⅛-inch slices.
Dry the potato slices with a paper towel until there is no more moisture.
Transfer the sliced potatoes to a bowl and coat in olive oil.
Wipe down a large flat microwavable-safe plate with olive oil to prevent the chips from sticking.
Place the chips on the plate in an even layer and sprinkle with salt.
Microwave the chips on high for 6-7 minutes or until the chips just start to brown. When the chips develop some color remove them from the microwave and slowly peel from the plate. If chips are sticking, they can also be flipped halfway through!
Repeat this process until all the potato slices are cooked.

This works but make sure you're checking and turning the crisps every 2-3 minutes or they'll burn.

Well they take longer than 6 minutes. I had to put mine 10 minutes. I was worried the plate was going to brake.
Tried thinner and thiccker slices. Doest work at all

These were good one thing to do is cook them in small increments of time and use a salt shaker for the salt

There good but it wound turn out if you cut them to thick otherwise they taste like French fries

There pretty good. Just make sure u actually lube up the plate with olive oil or your chips will stick to the plate.
