Tried this and it's very good
Combine:
30 Oz chick peas
2-3 cloves garlic
1 lemon
1/2 cup Tahini
1/4 cup Olive oil
1 tsp cumin
Salt pepper
Little ice water
Garnish:
olive oil, paprika, parsley
Damn I added waaaay too much garlic lol oh well I love raw garlic
I don't use paprika I use Tandoori seasoning and red chili flakes. And we always pronounce it wrong it's not "hum" as in a hummingbird the sound actually says "who" 😂 "whommus"= hummus
I keep the skins, more bang for your money.
Delicious but it took a long time to shuck the chickpeas
The Zohan approves
only homus i know is alooot of garlic
You can always spot the amateur when you see them peeling chickpeas one by one! How do I know? I used to be that guy too! 🤣
Turned out delish! Thank you!
Instead of peeling them one by one just boil them with baking soda and to get it especially creamy throw some icecubes in 🙂
I think you put way too many ingredients in that chickpeas lemon juice and parsley is the real Greek way I think everything else takes too much taste away from the chickpeas you're making a flavored hummus just saying it's not that complicated
I tried it without removing skin – came out just as great in a food processor!
After all, whos has time for that?
I only have a vertical blender, removing the skin helped me make it work. You re the first person who suggested that 😀
What do you eat with hummus???? Bread? And?
Are you using boiled cheekpeas? Or just soaked ones?
Well is it good for chicken or only for charcuterie board only use hummus on rotisserie chicken
Whoa! That's a lot of oil. I'm oil free.
oil adds a HUGE amt of calories oh my tastes fine without it
Some of these comments 😂
It should not be made of canned beans :/ use shelled (peeled) dry beans ! The quickly quick after soaking over night! Soak the beans in water than has a bit of vinegar
Home made is better
U got to roast the garlic
Mine turned out bitter? Any tips how can I avoid that
Had to chk the measurements…ounces and cups got confusung
Yummy❤😂
if you did all of this shirtless it would be even better
As a syrian who works in a hummus shop , I can confirm that this man is a legend
No paprika
I made it, it was very good, thanks for the recipe
Does the lemon matter much?

there is no necessity to remove the skins, you are going to blend it anyway
Tahini has so many calories!!! That hummus right there is guaranteed at least 1K calories and so much fat! Not healthy at all.
Love this dish
Should we cook chickpeas ?
tip from Turkey, serve with a nice amount of ghee oil and roasted pine kernel highly recommended for a much much better taste
We don’t have to boil check peas? Because some of recipes I’ve seen them boiling it
Please answer
Ingredients: oil, oil, and oil. Oil for garnish.
U wife must be lucky, handsome and knows how to cook🎉
lost me at pealing the peas
I make a point to not take cooking pointers from people who can't pronounce the word of the food correctly.
removing skins are for posers and kids. FT
Looks good ❤❤
Are the chickpea from can? Or can I use canned chickpea?
