Renowned Indian Chef Kunal Kapur has teamed up with South Asian food brand Laxmi for a second season of its Diwali cooking series, featuring six episodes of fusion recipes ahead of the festival.
The brand has also launched a sweepstakes in the U.S., offering prizes including a luxury car, gold coins, smartphones and televisions.
The YouTube series, Diwali Delights with Laxmi featuring Chef Kunal Kapur, premiered on September 9. It combines traditional Indian festive flavors with contemporary recipes designed for home cooks, using products from Laxmi’s range.
Kapur, an NDTV Food Awardee, returns following the first season’s run last year.
“Partnering with Laxmi for a second year is truly special,” says Kapur.
“Diwali is about coming together, celebrating traditions and, of course, enjoying great food. Alongside the cooking series, Laxmi is running its Dream Big, Win Bigger This Festival! Diwali Sweepstakes. Consumers can enter by purchasing a Laxmi product and submitting an entry through the company’s promotional website.
The campaign targets consumers across the U.S. during the Diwali season, when food brands often promote festive products and run giveaways. Laxmi, founded in 1972, has supplied South Asian food products and ingredients to North American households for more than five decades.
