Locanda Capri in Brentwood is offering its patrons some new options to tempt the palette this Fall.

Owner Enzo Rosano brought in a new chef from Italy to design a brunch menu that includes bottomless mimosas and create some budget-friendly options.

“This is a new chapter for the business, a new beginning,” Rosano said. “We are still the same love and family, but we make an adjustment for the community to fit in better, to please everyone.”

Other new offerings include an “early bird special” aimed at seniors, and a new 100-inch television on the patio where guests can cheer on their favorite teams while enjoying “a little pasta and a little beer.”

Rosano said his eatery is an important part of the community, and he wants it to stay that way. To support local families in need, he and his new chef will open the restaurant on Thanksgiving Day from noon to 2 p.m. to offer a free meal to anyone who wants to walk in.

“We want to send a strong message to the community that Locanda is part of the community and proud to be here,” Rosano said. “It’s a difficult time for many families, we like to do a little to help.”

Locanda Capri is a family-owned Italian restaurant, with recipes inspired by Rosano’s mother’s cooking in their home outside Naples, Italy. With a focus on specialty cocktails, authentic Italian cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere, Locanda brings tradition and modern Italian dining to downtown Brentwood.

Locanda Capri is at 301 Oak St. The restaurant is open on Sundays from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 4-9 p.m., closed Mondays, Tuesdays-Thursdays 4-9 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 4-10 p.m.
