Chef-Vintner Dustin Valette Celebrates Harvest Season on Healdsburg’s Plaza with an Afternoon of Wine, Rooftop Bites and Live Music Benefiting the V Foundation

October 15, 2026 — On Sunday, October 25, Chef-Vintner Dustin Valette invites guests up to Roof 106, the open-air rooftop at The Matheson, for Vines, Views & Vibes: Harvest. Presented with 88 Vines Entertainment, the afternoon reception celebrates the harvest season above historic Healdsburg Plaza, bringing together Dustin Valette’s cooking, Valette Wines, and the Sonoma County winemaking community, all in support of The V Foundation for Cancer Research.

Hosted by Bay Area media personality and KCBS “Foodie Chap” Liam Mayclem, the afternoon gives guests a first taste of Valette Wines’ newly released vintages, made in collaboration with some of Sonoma County’s most acclaimed winemakers, alongside pours from Comstock Wines and Crux Winery. To pair with each glass, Chef Dustin and his team will be preparing a feast right on the rooftop: think grilling stations, charcuterie with Valette’s house-cured meats, and a Matheson signature caviar station. At the bar, expect seasonal cocktails with KAPA Napa Valley Vodka and The Matheson’s beloved Modern Margarita, dubbed the “World’s Best” by Forbes. For entertainment, rising soul-pop artist Izzy Escobar, fresh off appearances at BottleRock Napa Valley, Austin City Limits and the Montreal International Jazz Festival, will play an intimate set exclusive to the event. Additionally, the afternoon incorporates a premier silent auction: bidding on premium items and experiences, with proceeds benefiting The V Foundation.

Chef Dustin’s partnership with The V Foundation runs deep; year-round, Valette Wines donates 10% of new customer sales to the foundation’s Firefighter Cancer Research Fund, a cause close to home, as his father worked for CAL FIRE and saw firsthand firefighters’ battles with the disease. Net proceeds from event tickets and its silent auction benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research, with 100% of auction proceeds going to the foundation. Valette Wines will also donate 20% of all bottle sales during the event.
