“We are thrilled to partner with Woodman’s for its Plainfield grand opening and celebrate this milestone alongside the community,” Coleman Jr. said in a news release.

“Woodman’s has been an important partner in bringing Coleman products to consumers across the Midwest, and we’re proud that customers can find our products at Woodman’s stores in the Chicagoland area. We look forward to giving families a chance to try them while enjoying an afternoon of food, fun and local school spirit,” he said.

Guests will receive a token to vote for a participating school and the school receiving the most votes will earn $1,000 for its booster organization, while each of the other participating schools will receive $250.

Woodman’s opened in Plainfield on Sept. 29. The Wisconsin-based Woodman’s has several stores in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Woodman’s focuses on providing the widest variety of grocery items at the best prices, the employee-owned company said.

The stores also operate their own gas stations. There are more pumps at the Plainfield location compared to other locations.
