“Taste of Nobu” in Coronado: Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, founder of the global Nobu restaurant company, will host an outdoor “Taste of Nobu” event at the Hotel Del Coronado to celebrate the hotel’s 1-year-old Nobu location. Raising Cane’s pups promotion: In honor of its 30th anniversary, Raising Cane’s locations in San Diego County will be selling a limited-edition 30th Birthday Plush Puppy for $12.99, through Sept. 22. Restaurants support Feeding San Diego: Four San Diego restaurants will be raising money for Feeding San Diego from Tuesday through Sept. 15 in honor of Hunger Action Month. The retaurants will donate $1 from every sale of a specific dish on their menu during that period.
