The Village Dallas Appoints Chef Eduardo Osorio Culinary Director

The Village Dallas announces the appointment of Chef Eduardo Osorio as Culinary Director, expanding his leadership across the iconic Dallas community’s collection of restaurants, bars and entertainment destinations. In his new role, Osorio will oversee the culinary direction of Meridian, Over Under, Village Beach Club, Anise, Buzz & Bustle and future food and beverage initiatives throughout The Village. He will also continue serving as Executive Chef of Meridian.

As Culinary Director, Osorio will collaborate with the culinary teams across The Village to guide menu development, maintain quality and consistency, mentor culinary talent and support the continued evolution of each concept’s culinary program. His leadership will support a cohesive food and beverage vision across the property while allowing each destination to retain their own distinct experience.

Osorio’s expanded role encompasses The Village’s diverse culinary portfolio, including:

Meridian, The Village’s ingredient-driven, live-fire restaurant where Osorio will remain executive chef, creating seasonal dishes influenced by his coastal roots and global culinary experience.

Over Under, a lively neighborhood sports bar offering classic American fare, drinks and an energetic setting for watching games and gathering with friends.

Village Beach Club, a resort-style pool and entertainment destination featuring poolside dining, cocktails, live music and seasonal events.

Anise, located at The Drey Hotel, contemporary neighborhood gathering place for breakfast and lunch by day and cocktails and evening bites by night in a warm, welcoming setting.

Buzz & Bustle, The Village’s neighborhood coffee shop and daytime gathering place serving coffee, breakfast, lunch and grab-and-go selections.

Born in Los Angeles, Osorio has built a dynamic culinary career shaped by coastal influences, global experiences and a deep respect for thoughtful hospitality. He began his career in Marina del Rey and Santa Monica, where he developed an early appreciation for seasonal ingredients, sustainable seafood and the vibrant flavors of California’s coastal dining scene.

His culinary journey has since taken him through some of the world’s most diverse food destinations, including New York, Chicago, Saudi Arabia, Las Vegas and Dallas. Working across an array of cultures, kitchens and dining environments has broadened his perspective and refined his approach to food, leadership and service.

At Meridian, Osorio brings those influences together through intentional, ingredient-driven cooking grounded in a strong sense of place. His approach balances creativity with accessibility, allowing the quality of each ingredient to remain at the forefront while introducing guests to thoughtful flavor combinations and techniques.

Beyond the kitchen, Osorio is passionate about building genuine connections with guests and the surrounding community. His expanded position will allow him to carry that philosophy throughout The Village, creating welcoming destinations where thoughtful food, warm hospitality and memorable experiences come together.
