ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Franchise owner Layne Alkaasamani is opening Paris Baguette in Alpharetta on Wednesday, Sept. 16, bringing an assortment of artisanal pastries, cakes, breads and handcrafted beverages to 4119 Lake Street, Suite 105.
After beginning her career as a pastry chef, Alkaasamani brought her passion for baking to Paris Baguette. A native of Brazil who attended culinary school in Switzerland, she opened her first bakery café in Kennesaw. She hopes to grow her portfolio to two or three additional cafés across Georgia.
“What really drew me to Paris Baguette was the culture and that neighborhood bakery feel,” Alkaasamani said. “I’m looking forward to bringing that to Alpharetta and giving people a place to come in, enjoy fresh pastries, breads and coffee, and spend time together. I want this café to feel like part of the community and be a place our guests enjoy coming back to.”
The Alpharetta location is the 10th Paris Baguette bakery café in Georgia. Paris Baguette is expanding through meaningful partnerships with local entrepreneurs who genuinely want to bring people together over fresh-baked goods and artisanal coffee beverages, officials said.
“We’re on a mission to reestablish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community across the U.S., and we’re excited to see Layne bring this to life in her local trade area,” Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette, said. “In our cafés, we like to say, ‘Happy to see you. Happier to serve you.’ And we know Layne will wholeheartedly embrace this approach in her neighborhood.”
