Did your independent restaurant earn at least $11 million in food-and-beverage sales at a single location in 2025?

Then you might make the list.

Submissions are now open for the 2026 Restaurant Business Top 100 Independent Restaurants, an annual ranking that assembles the top-grossing concepts across the U.S.

Last year, MILA in Miami topped the list with more than $51 million in sales, but The Boathouse in Orlando was not far behind, followed by concepts like Joe’s Stone Crab, Old Ebbitt Grill and Delilah Las Vegas.

Collectively, last year’s class of Top 100 restaurants generated about $1.96 billion in gross food-and-beverage sales, despite rising costs and reduced consumer spending.

To qualify for the list, restaurants must have generated at least $11 million last year, but only at one location.

Note that the restaurant must have been in operation for the full year, and have no more than five locations operating under the same name (to be considered an independent restaurant).

Go to this link to submit your entry. The deadline for submissions is rapidly approaching: Aug. 31.

Coverage of this year’s Top 100 list is scheduled to appear this fall in RestaurantBusinessOnline.com, and Nation’s Restaurant News online and in print.
