For the family-run establishment, which has been serving authentic Indian cuisine to the Shropshire community since opening its doors in 1995, the honour serves as a testament to over three decades of culinary dedication.
The regional victory comes amidst a period of widespread national acclaim for the venue, which was also recently featured in the renowned Harden’s Restaurant Guide 2026. Together, these honours highlight the restaurant’s steadfast commitment to high culinary standards and warm, welcoming hospitality.
Expressing his delight over the dual achievements, Faz of Shifnal Balti noted that the team was absolutely overjoyed to bring such recognition to their hometown.
