U. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – New tenants are set to breathe new life into vacancies at a prominent shopping center in Lehigh County.
A new pet supply store and a new restaurant are under development at Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township, according to Patrick Turner, general manager of Promenade Saucon Valley.
The new pet supply store, expected to open in the fall, will occupy Suite 420, between American Eagle Outfitters and Claire’s.

The space previously housed The Hive, a former market carrying hand-crafted items from local vendors, which closed earlier this year.
Individuals will be able to shop a wide array of pet supplies, including toys, food and treats and accessories, Turner said.
No live pets or grooming services will be offered.
“They should be open in October, but I can’t announce the name just yet,” Turner said of the pet supply store.
Also coming soon to the Upper Saucon center is a new restaurant at the site of the former Bar Louie location, which closed in August 2025.

Like the pet supply store, the new dining establishment also is in the early stages of development, and Turner anticipates announcing details – including the restaurant’s name, concept and target opening date – within the next few weeks.
The restaurant space, at 2960 Center Valley Parkway Suite 700 in Center Valley, also once housed Shula’s Steak House.
According to a Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board notice, dated July 24 and displayed in the entrance window of the former Bar Louie restaurant, a liquor license for the location is being transferred from BLH Acquisition Co LLC to a new owner, Saucon Valley TRS LLC.
Saucon Valley TRS LLC is a foreign limited-liability company organized under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, according to online business data platform Bizapedia.
The business was filed on June 17 and has a principal office address in Newark, N.J., according to the Bizapedia listing.
The new restaurant and pet supply store will join a host of other new Promenade Saucon Valley tenants.
In June, a new location of Wonder, an innovative “fast fine” dining concept allowing customers to order from more than 20 chef-driven brands in a single, seamless transaction for dine-in, pickup or delivery, opened in Suite 802 next to Elite Salons & Suites.
In April, a new location of Sephora, where shoppers can explore an “unrivaled selection of makeup, skincare, hair, fragrance and more from classic and emerging brands,” opened next to Athleta.
In March, a new location of Norman’s Hallmark, a popular retailer offering Hallmark cards, Keepsake Ornaments and a wide selection of gifts, home decor, fashion, books, stationery, games and gourmet items, opened next to Bath & Body Works.

Also in March, Mental Strength Ritual, a “unique wellness destination specializing in an FDA-cleared technology called Transcranial Mental Stimulation,” opened in Suite 610, next to Altar’d State.
