Grand Opening Celebration

The grand opening on August 22 drew guests with free burritos for the first 250 in attendance. The event featured a live DJ, henna artist, photo booth, and a prize wheel with giveaways including t-shirts, mugs, gift cards, and free Curry Up Now meals for a year.

The menu accommodates halal, keto, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets, using locally sourced ingredients when available. Dine-in, takeout, and delivery are all available.

Smyrna Gets an Exclusive Dish: The Nash & Three

The Smyrna location is the only Curry Up Now in the country to serve the Nash & Three, the brand’s take on the Southern meat and three. The dish includes two tandoori charred chicken chops, masala mac, peri peri corn, saag paneer, and naan.

Mortar and Pestle Bar Inside Curry Up Now Smyrna

The Smyrna location houses a full-service bar called Mortar and Pestle. The cocktail menu includes:

The Junkyard Heart — a vodka and apple brandy take on a mule
The Filter Kaapi — a South Indian coffee martini made with chicory coffee and salted coconut milk
The Mortar and Pestle — Tennessee whiskey and rye, served in a mortar

The bar also pours local Tennessee drafts, whiskey flights pairing Indian single malts with Tennessee whiskeys, and seven non-alcoholic cocktails including the Chaat GPT and Thumsucker. Late-night bites are available after dinner hours.
