CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) — A popular central Pennsylvania Mexican restaurant just announced it will be closing its Cumberland County restaurant this weekend.
Tuesday evening, the owners of El Sol Cantina, which is located at 3721 Market Street in Camp Hill, shared on Facebook that they would be closing the restaurant down later this weekend after five years of operation.
El Sol Cantina’s last day will be Saturday, August 29.

“We are incredibly grateful for every customer who has walked through our doors, shared a meal with us, celebrated special moments, and supported us throughout the years,” El Sol Cantina shared. “Your loyalty and friendship have meant so much to our entire team.”
Although this will be the end of El Sol Cantina in Camp Hill, the owners expressed that this is not goodbye.
Following this closure, the owners will continue to operate their Senor El Sol location at 275 Hershey Road in Hummelstown. Additionally, the owners are also preparing to open what they call “Senor El Sol Dos”, which will be situated on 6301 Grayson Road in Harrisburg.
Currently, there is no opening date for the new location in Harrisburg, but the owners say it is coming soon.
“We hope you’ll follow us into this next chapter and continue to support us at our new locations,” El Sol added. “We can’t wait to see all of you again!”

This closure in Camp Hill follows the closure of the long-time El Sol Mexican Restaurant at 18 South 3rd Street in downtown Harrisburg from earlier this summer.
