New India’s Oven, a longtime Indian restaurant in Marina del Rey, is preparing to leave its familiar home and move to a new location about a mile away.
The restaurant will vacate its space at 13444 Maxella Ave. in the Villa Marina Marketplace shopping center and relocate to 13400 Washington Blvd. in the Marina Collection shopping center.
In a social media announcement, the restaurant said it is “so excited to finally welcome you to our new home” after weeks of preparing the space and looks forward to opening its doors and celebrating with the community.
New India’s Oven has long been a local favorite for lunch and takeaway, offering an extensive menu of authentic Indian dishes that includes classic items such as mulligatawny soup, chicken tikka masala, lamb boti kabob, tandoori specialties, biryanis, vegetarian curries and house-baked naan. The restaurant also provides dine-in service, delivery, takeout and catering.
No firm opening date for the new location has been announced.
