A Mexican restaurant has been named the best place to eat in the city by a global publication for the second year in a row.
Time Out has released its 20 best restaurants in Brighton, picked by travel writer Liv Kelly.
Among restaurants featured include Mare, The Little Fish Market and Bincho Yakitori, however scooping the top title is Halisco.
Located in Preston Street, the restaurant serves a range of small plates, tacos and margaritas.
This is the second year the establishment has been given the title, with owners Ali and Mo Razavi sharing their appreciation on social media.
They wrote: “Number one once again!
“It really was incredible how much this done for our small little restaurant last year when we bagged number 1 last March.
“Buzzing to have retained top spot in Brighton two years in a row.
“Thanks for all the love.”

Time Out described the venue as a “casual little restaurant packing big, big flavour”.
Ms Kelly wrote: “This is not the place for a formal evening dinner, but it most definitely is the place to take someone you’re trying to impress.
“Halisco is a busy, noisy little restaurant churning out mouth-watering cocktails, inexplicably tasty Mexican-inspired small plates, all brought to you by a friendly local team and run by brothers Ali and Mo Razavi.
“The menu is split into three sections with snacks, small plates and excellent tacos, which can all be washed down by the best margaritas outside of the motherland. It’s unfussy, consistent and really, really tasty.”
Other notable locations in the list included Petit Pois, which was awarded best for lunch, and Riddle and Finns, which was named the best restaurant on the beach.
