Feast Buffet, a restaurant that offers more than 200 different dishes daily at its original location, will open a new restaurant in Plano.
Originally established in Katy, near Houston, in late 2022, Feast Buffet will open at 1680 N. Central Expressway in Plano. Construction was initially expected to be completed in July 2026, but work appeared to be still underway inside the restaurant in early September.
The flagship Feast Buffet serves dishes from four cuisines: Chinese, Japanese, American and Mexican, giving diners a range of options under one roof.
The Plano location will span nearly 20,000 square feet and is a new construction project with an estimated investment of $2 million, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
At its Katy restaurant, Feast Buffet can accommodate 700 people in a 24,000-square-foot, Las Vegas-style dining room.
The restaurant features a sushi and sashimi bar with options such as octopus nigiri, salmon sashimi and several sushi rolls, as well as a seafood station serving steamed blue crab, Cajun crawfish, baked mussels, baked salmon or frog legs.
At the live hibachi grill, diners can create Mongolian-style dishes. Chinese options include coconut shrimp and General Tso’s chicken; the Mexican section serves caldo de res, tacos, menudo and tamales; and American offerings include brisket, barbecue ribs, chicken wings and mac and cheese. The restaurant also has salad and dessert stations.
At its Katy location, prices range from $3.49 for 2-year-olds to $20.99 on weekdays for adults and $21.99 on weekends, with discounted rates for seniors 65 and older and military personnel.
The chain has not yet announced the opening date for the new restaurant in Plano.
