Based on their delivery address, eligible customers will automatically see Dunkin’ listed in the restaurants section of the app.
They can then browse the menu, customise food and drink orders, and complete payment.
Dunkin’ brand president and Inspire chief brand officer Scott Murphy said: “By bringing Dunkin’ into the Walmart shopping experience, we’re creating another convenient way for guests to get their favourite beverages and meals at the speed of Dunkin’.
“By combining the strength of Walmart’s delivery platform with the appeal of our Dunkin’ menu, we can reach more guests in more moments, creating an experience that fits naturally into everyday life.”
Walmart entered the restaurant delivery market in June by signing a deal with Subway.
It is now adding more restaurants to its app, including outlets located away from Walmart stores.
Dunkin’ will initially be available from its 150 locations operating as in-store tenants at Walmart.
The service is expected to expand to include the majority of the brand’s 10,000 locations outside Walmart stores across the country.
Walmart e-commerce fulfilment transformation senior vice-president Greg Cathey said: “By expanding restaurant delivery beyond our stores, we are offering a value and convenience proposition that is unmatched.
“Walmart is built to support real life, and together with Dunkin’, we’re enabling customers to order their beverages, doughnut or sandwich alongside their paper towels, milk and household essentials—all through a delivery experience they already know and love.”
