Taylor Sheridan’s “Lioness” filmed its third season in Fort Worth and all around North Texas.

The Paramount+ series follows CIA operative Joe (Zoe Saldaña) as she balances her “personal and professional lives as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror.” The show also stars Nicole Kidman, Michael Kelly and Morgan Freeman.

“Lioness” spent several months in the Metroplex filming scenes from October 2025 to March 2026.

Here’s a look at all the North Texas locations featured in season 3, episode 6, “Sugar Land,” which aired Sunday, Sept. 6, on Paramount+.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse

This was filmed in Fort Worth at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, 812 Main St. The exterior of the restaurant appeared earlier this season in episode two.

West Lancaster Avenue Bridge

Around 15 minutes in, Sen. Olson drives on a bridge.

This was filmed in Fort Worth on West Lancaster Avenue Bridge in the Cultural District.

The production closed down the bridge in late March for filming. This Star-Telegram caught a glimpse of filming and saw an assortment of vehicles driving up and down the bridge.

University Drive

At 17:50, Sen. Olson drives his car into a semi truck.

This was filmed on University Drive in Fort Worth’s Cultural District.

The production closed down the road for two days in late March. The Star-Telegram watched filming from a distance and saw an all-black car with a camera adorned to its roof driving behind a black sedan and black SUV.

Fort Worth Masonic Temple

At 19:30, the Russian embassy in Washington D.C. is seen.

Roy Pope Grocery

At 27:36, Oleksandra (Elizaveta Neretin) shops at a grocery store in Oklahoma.

The 83-year-old neighborhood grocery and deli closed in May and is being turned into a restaurant by Westland Hospitality Group.
