A woman crashed her car through the front of a Mexican restaurant in Malden on Wednesday, shattering the front door and windows, police said.
No injuries were reported.
The crash happened at 11 a.m. at Santa Fe Burrito Grill and Bar at 205 Pleasant St., Malden’s police chief, Marc Gatcomb, said.

Officers helped the driver get out of her car, Gatcomb said. He described her as elderly and said she was “shaken up” by the crash.
Images shared by police show the restaurant, which is steps from City Hall, with its double doors bent at the middle. The doors appear pulled off their hinges, while multiple panes of window glass lay shattered nearby.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
The car was towed and officials remained at the building to assess “structural damage,” Gatcomb said.
The restaurant was open for business when the crash occurred but it’s unclear if customers were inside at the time.
The sidewalk outside the restaurant will remain closed, with pedestrians directed to the opposite sidewalk, police said.
