(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Texas T-Bone Steakhouse & Famous Dave’s BBQ is known for its fall-off-the-bone meats and friendly service. On the 25th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center, the popular restaurant is offering first responders 20% off all dine-in purchases as a token of appreciation.

Owner Ashley Brown and General Manager Sandy Urgilez joined Loving Living Local’s Justin Antweil and Krista Witiak to discuss the special offer and the restaurant’s effort to honor those who serve their communities.

“First and foremost, today is a day to remember those we lost and to recognize the incredible first responders who serve our communities every day,” said Brown. “This is our way of saying thank you.”

Whether dining in or taking food to go, popular favorites include steaks, wings, ribs, sides, and desserts.

“Our favorite season is football season,” said Urgilez. “BBQ is perfect for game day because it travels so well. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, wings—you can pick it up, take it home, and have a spread everyone will be excited about. We can cater for up to 500 people.”

New to the menu are three wing flavors: Jamaican Jerk, Sweet Bourbon, and Lemon Pepper.

Texas T-Bone Steakhouse & Famous Dave’s BBQ is located at 5245 North Academy Boulevard in Colorado Springs. The restaurant is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
