Former Miss World winner Giselle Laronde-West is set to launch her latest jewellery collection, Ode to Caribbean Flora, at LIMIN Southbank in London on Saturday 19 September.
The collection draws inspiration from the vibrant flora of the Caribbean and features sterling silver pieces created in collaboration with painter and jewellery artist Reah Lee Sing. The showcase will take place at the award-winning Caribbean restaurant in Gabriel’s Wharf, offering guests an opportunity to explore a range that celebrates the natural beauty of the region.
Laronde-West launched her first jewellery collection in April 2026, taking inspiration from Trinidad and Tobago’s traditional Carnival characters. With her latest offering, she continues her mission of highlighting Caribbean culture and heritage through wearable art.
The collection includes a variety of pieces, including pendants, brooches, cufflinks, earrings, bracelets and rings, designed to evoke both nostalgia and pride in the Caribbean experience.
Best known internationally for becoming Miss World in 1986, Laronde-West has also built an accomplished career in corporate communications, customer service and corporate social responsibility. Following a 31-year professional career that included roles at Angostura Limited and Caribbean Airlines, she retired in 2023.
Alongside her business achievements, she has remained active in philanthropy and community development, supporting organisations that empower women and create opportunities for entrepreneurship and personal growth.
The London launch is expected to attract lovers of Caribbean culture, jewellery enthusiasts and supporters eager to see how the region’s rich natural heritage has been transformed into a distinctive collection of contemporary designs.
