Dallas-based restaurant Hudson House plans to expand in Houston with a third location, according to project details filed with the state.
The American seafood restaurant chose Memorial Greenside, a new retail complex in Memorial City, as the site of its new location. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing shows it would occupy a 6,095-square-foot space at 1085 Gessner Road, Suite 290. The project’s estimated cost is $2 million. Details in TDLR filings are subject to change.
Construction is projected to begin Nov. 19, and to be completed by April 4, 2027.
Hudson House would join several tenants at the 35,000-square-foot retail development, which is expected to open in November. Other announced tenants include Merit Coffee, Tifa Chocolate & Gelato, Epic Cycles, Original ChopShop, Leemoo Health Bar, Solidcore and Pizzana.
Hudson House is known for its extensive seafood menu and specialty cocktails. The restaurant that first opened in Dallas in 2017 has since opened two locations in Houston with a location in River Oaks and the other in Rice Village.
