The restaurant, located at 205 E. Third St., Austin, TX 78701, officially opened to the public on Sept. 10, but now more fans will get to join in on the festivities. Austin Sports Club will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 23 at 10 a.m., presented by the Downtown Austin Alliance in partnership with the Austin Chamber of Commerce.
Expected attendees of the event include co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Lobos Hospitality Eric Kemp, President and CEO of Downtown Austin Alliance Davon Barbour and District 9 Austin City Council Member Zo Qadri who will present a proclamation. Earlier this month, Austin Sports Club held a grand opening party for the restaurant where Houston Rockets forward Durant also made an appearance.
Austin Sports Club is a premium dining and entertainment space created by Lobos Hospitality in partnership with Durant, Rich Kleiman’s Boardroom Hospitality and Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia. Inspired by classic American athletic clubs, the luxury restaurant and bar is designed to be a destination for sports fans, food lovers and culture seekers alike.
Its menu features dishes like snow crab claws, ribeye steaks, caviar and tator tots alongside specialty cocktails, beer, wine and a weekend brunch. Food prices range from $10 for shoestring fries to $165 for a family-size beef Wellington.
Austin Sports Club hours are Monday through Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m., Fridays from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
