CHICAGO (WLS) — Three restaurants, all within a mile of each other, were broken into overnight Saturday to Sunday on the city’s Southwest Side, Chicago police said.

Video captured the damage at La Fuente Restaurant near 59th and Sacramento.

A similar break-in happened just blocks away, near 59th and California. Police say five people broke into Taqueria Vallarta around 4:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

Thieves also broke into Lupita’s Snacks near 64th and Western. Police say a cash register with money inside was stolen.

It was not yet known if the break-ins were connected. Chicago police continue to investigate.
