The owners announced the closure on social media, thanking the community, employees, and longtime supporters who have been part of the restaurant since it opened.

“It’s been nine years since we opened BBJ, and it’s been a good run,” the owners shared. “Thanks to all of you who’ve supported us these nine years. We’ve had a great time getting to know so many new friends.”

The owners also thanked the local Catholic community for supporting the restaurant from the beginning, including Father Joe Pat Breen, who gave the business a blessing during its opening week.

They also expressed appreciation for employees, especially those who have been with the restaurant since its early days.

“This restaurant couldn’t have run without you, and we have so much appreciation for all of you,” the owners said.

The owners described the decision to close as difficult but necessary. The owners said they were especially touched when employees told them Brothers’ Burger Joint had been the best place they had ever worked.
