Bubbakoo’s Burritos, a Mexican fusion fast casual restaurant, opened its latest Maryland location in Olney on Oct. 2, the company announced.
Located at 16822 Georgia Ave., the new site features Bubbakoo’s customizable menu in addition to the new Southwest Chicken Shredder. Bubbakoo’s Olney is owned and operated by Amarvir Brar.
“We’re eager to bring Bubbakoo’s bold flavors to Olney and introduce the community to a concept that stands out for its variety, creativity and ability to make every meal your own,” Brar said according to a news release.
“This is a great location surrounded by families, shoppers and people traveling through the area, and we look forward to becoming a convenient go-to for the community.”
The opening of the business’s Olney eatery marks the 15th location in Maryland, joining sites in Baltimore City and Baltimore, Carroll, Anne Arundel, Harford and Prince George’s counties. The brand’s first Montgomery County restaurant opened in Clarksburg in November 2025.
Founded in 2008 on the Jersey Shore town of Point Pleasant, N.J., Bubbakoo’s Burritos offers more than 12 signature flavors including the Papi Hibachi steak, shrimp Burrito, Crispy Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla, Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken Burrito, California Steakhouse Burrito and more.
The brand operates more than 140 locations across 17 states.
“We’re thrilled to continue growing Bubbakoo’s presence in Maryland with our 12th location in the state and first in Montgomery County,” Bubbakoo’s Burritos CEO Chris Ives said.
“Olney gives us an exciting opportunity to introduce the brand to even more guests and connect with local community members and those commuting through Georgia Ave. We look forward to bringing the bold flavors, creativity and customization that define Bubbakoo’s to this populous market.”
