A familiar name in Louisiana’s Italian dining scene is making its way to Lafourche Parish as Fratelli’s Italian Grill prepares to open a new location in Larose.
The restaurant is planned for 13960 West Main St. in Larose, bringing its combination of Italian-American comfort food, pizza and full-service dining to the South Lafourche community, according to a social media post.
Fratelli’s is known for a menu featuring traditional Italian favorites and red-sauce classics. Diners at the new Larose location can expect offerings such as fried calamari, veal parmigiana and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, along with specialty pizzas and other Italian dishes.
The restaurant’s existing locations offer a broad selection of pasta dishes, baked pastas, chicken and veal entrees, seafood, steaks, pizza, calzones and other Italian-American favorites.
Fratelli’s describes itself as a family-owned and operated Italian restaurant, with its Prairieville location emphasizing made-to-order dishes and fresh ingredients. According to Fratelli’s, the restaurant first established its Prairieville location in 2017 and has since expanded its presence across Louisiana.
The Larose location will occupy the building at 13960 West Main St., which previously housed Happy Gardens Restaurant, a longtime Chinese restaurant and buffet. The arrival of Fratelli’s will give the building a new chapter while adding another dining option along Larose’s busy West Main Street corridor.
Fratelli’s has locations in several Louisiana communities, including Prairieville, Slidell, LaPlace and the Baton Rouge area, as the brand continues expanding its footprint throughout the state.
While excitement is building for the new South Lafourche location, an official opening date has not yet been announced.
The addition of Fratelli’s will give residents and visitors another option for Italian-American dining in Larose, with the restaurant expected to offer everything from pizza and pasta to seafood and traditional Italian entrees.
