A new Italian restaurant has opened in Mount Joy, bringing housemade pasta, wood-fired pizza and Italian-inspired drinks to a historic building on West Main Street.

Amore Traditional Italian Kitchen & Bar, at 905 W. Main St., began regular hours Monday following a soft launch over the weekend.

The family-owned restaurant is operated by the Conigliaro family, whose local restaurant roots date to 1976 when the family opened the original Two Cousins Pizza in Mount Joy. They now have several locations across Lancaster County. The family also owns Nonna Rosa Traditional Italian Kitchen in Akron, which opened in 2019.
