Kabob-licious in Hoover has been named Alabama’s best hidden gem for Indian cuisine by The Takeout, in a September 2026 list of every state’s best ‘hole-in-the-wall’ Indian restaurant.
The article references online reviews including a comment from a Reddit user who says they’re from India calling Kabob-licious home to the “best grilled tikka wings and kebabs and nehari” in Alabama.
Beyond the comments made on social media about Kabob-licious, it has four and a half stars and more than 300 reviews on Google.
