Yesterday, I was sitting at my desk at the station here in Amarillo, shoveling my lunch into my mouth. I was thinking about how much I loved eating Mediterranean food. This type of food is so out of my comfort zone, and I am thankful I gave it a chance because I eat it often.
I’m talking about MotoMedi. I absolutely love grabbing lunch from them on a regular basis. I’m pretty particular about what I eat, and I don’t stray too far from what I know.
What Goes in My MotoMedi Bowl?
One thing I do know is I love roasted vegetables, and they have that as an ingredient choice in their bowls. Their roasted vegetables are amazing. The vegetable mix has Brussels sprouts (I hate them, but love these), sweet potatoes, and cauliflower roasted to perfection. I also like orzo, so that makes an amazing base. I like chicken, and the first few times I went with the regular, and then I tried their Greek chicken and never looked back. Sooooo good.
Then, the additions I get are the chickpea salad and Kalamata olives. Instead of the two dips that are included, I get three. Yes, there is an additional fee for the extra dip, but it just makes the bowl for me.
Why Three Dips Beat Two
I always get the hummus, which is another reason I originally tried MotoMedi. I love hummus. Then I tried their pista feta dip, and again it’s the best. And if you’re eating Mediterranean food, you have to have tzatziki. They give you a tiny pita too, which brings the bowl full circle.
I would post a picture of this amazing bowl, but by the time it dawned on me to take one, I had already halfway devoured it. Nobody likes looking at a half-eaten meal.

Not Sure What to Order at MotoMedi?
If you have never tried MotoMedi, I highly recommend getting out of your comfort zone and trying it just once. If you don’t know what to get, the amazing staff will walk you through it. Plus, they already have a menu of bowls you can just pick. I just choose to build my own bowl. If you’re not one to eat super healthy, guess what? They have fries as a base for the bowl! Check out their menu here.
Is There Dessert at MotoMedi?
If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll have to try their ice cream with the Turkish coffee syrup. It’s free with the meal.
MotoMedi is located at 2301 S Georgia St. They are open every day from 11 am to 10 pm.
