Hailee Steinfeld says she’s missing two things when it comes to food in Buffalo

Hailee Steinfeld says she’s having trouble finding great Mexican food and authentic matzo ball soup in Buffalo. WNY, what restaurants should she try?

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Hailee Steinfeld, the actress, model and singer who is also married to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, shared her latest weekly blog post on Beau Society, touching on everything from that Monday Night Football game to her favorite places to eat in Los Angeles and her daughter’s favorite toy.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably caught the nail-biting Bills win over the Los Angeles Rams in overtime. Steinfeld was right there cheering on her husband and the Bills, and fans got to see just how animated she gets during a game.

She also apologized for dropping a few F-bombs during the game and shared where she got her red Bills button-down shirt.

But football wasn’t the only thing on her mind. Steinfeld also talked about some of her favorite restaurants in Los Angeles, from Mexican restaurants to Jewish delis.

And when it comes to finding those same kinds of spots in Buffalo, she says she’s still looking.

“I need two things I can’t really get in Buffalo: great Mexican and Matzo ball soup from an authentic Jewish deli,” she wrote in her post.

We know Steinfeld is relatively new to Western New York, and if there’s one thing this area has, it’s restaurants worth discovering. Even longtime Western New Yorkers might have a few hidden gems they haven’t tried yet!
