One of the Boston area’s most adored French bakery brands has expanded.
Colette Bakery opened its new Arlington location on Oct. 16, according to a Facebook video from the business.
“Get ready to treat yourself to freshly baked bread and viennoiseries, delicate pastries, and warm lattes,” the caption on the video read.
The opening marks Colette’s fourth location overall, joining the company’s other locations in Medford, Boston’s South End and in Melrose.
Located in Arlington Center at 683 Massachusetts Ave., the intimate cafe is “a little different from some of our other locations,” owner Nathalie Beddiar previously told MassLive.
She said the Arlington location is intended to “give our customers a place to stay and enjoy the experience.”

“We want to thank our costumers for your endless support and appreciation for what we do,” the post continued. “We are immensely grateful and eager to welcome you into our new store!”
Colette Bakery was first established in Medford in 2020. Beddiar started the company with her husband Franck.
“Inspired by our friend Gérard Levant, a former baker and master of Eric Kayser, we have decided to use our passion for discovery by sharing our own French traditions through the creation of a bakery,” Colette’s website reads.
“As a family business, our main focus is to create desserts and pastries that can bring people together, and to share our French savoir-faire,” the website continued.
The French-inspired bakery offers a slew of sweets and baked goods, including Chouquette, macarons, eclairs and chocolate chip cookies. The pastry shop also offers savory bites, breads and caffinated beverages.
